I might be insane for doing this right now, what with my health issues and everything, but I have just signed myself up for a short course in Forensic Science. It's basically just an introduction to it, but when I complete it I get points which I can use towards a degree should I want to take that route.

I have perhaps watched too many shows on the discovery channel about this subject, but it sounds fascinating. Normally I'm drawn toward English or the Arts when it comes to picking subjects, but I've always ended up not enjoying them. So this time, I thought I would go for something that's a little different.

So, yay me?

Wow, that sounds so cool! Congrats on taking the course... I just started back at college myself about a month ago Monday. It's intimidating as hell, but worthwhile when the degree is placed in your hand :)

Dude, that sounds really interesting. Does that mean you'll be able to help solve crimes and stuff? ;) Good on you for taking the course, it will probably be good having something to focus on.

Well it's just a short course, so no where near doing that (yet? could be fun as a career, hee!), but yes. I thought so too. I've found if I have something to occupy my head, I don't "think" as much. :)
