It is Carnival today where I live. We have had the Red Arrows which I got some good pictures off and I am currently waiting for the floats to arrive. My house is on the float route, hence why I'm being a hermit and not venturing out into the crowd.

Many, many children have been bought whistles by their parents. May I have permission to ram them all down said children's throats?

I will return with what delights this year brings.

ETA: As per usual one of the cars broke down so there was a big hold up. We had 2 Daleks though which was just awesome. They glided on the road, I have no idea if there was a person inside controlling it or what, but it was just fabulous. Sadly no David Tennant which would have been BIG WIN.
