Well I'm in my new house. It would be super awesome if the heating worked properly *puts on another sweater*. My new bedroom kicks so much ass it hurts a little. Its bigger, plus I have a new bed (that bounces really good - maybe TMI?) and I have my laptop in my room again, just like old times.
AOL are dumb, seriously. You have to give them 20 days notice if you're moving home so they can initiate a broadband move. We gave them a month's notice. We move home and I can't get online. So I call them this morning, and they tell me that my accounts been cancelled because there was a problem with the telephone line. So now I have to deal with DIAL UP for 5 more days before I get my super fast connection back *sobs*.
Several things that suck on dial up; 1) Slowness, 2) images don't load properly, 3) images can't be saved properly and 4) I downloaded a 5 second video clip earlier and it took 5 minutes to download.
This is not good. Plus, I've lost all my satelliete channels as well. All technological advances in the modern world have been cruely snatched away. And I have to go to work tomorrow for 5 entire hours.
On the plus side I actually wrote some fic yesterday. I just chose a scene from my plot and wrote it - new technique I'm trying to see if I can get the damn thing finished. I like it. Must. Get. Fic. Finished. Before. End. Of. Year.
