Tour

So after weeks of holding back, waiting for London VIP's to go on sale, me and my friend Steph have decided to go for Liverpool VIP instead. So yes, I now have a Gold VIP soundcheck upgrade. I really don't know WHY I felt the need to have another solo picture, I just DO, despite the ridiculous price. Now, WHAT TO WEAR?

I feel like I should have less money than I do right now, but I'm not gonna complain about that.

I've also booked 3 out of 4 hotels. London, as it always seems to be, is a pain in the ass. I have a discount code, but no credit card in which to put said hotel on it. I could use my mum's, but I don't know whether she would need to be present (which she won't be).

Oh Boys, you cause me more headaches than anyone else I know.

Finally, I think I kinda love STMH now. Yes, yes I do.

Hee!

Tomorrow I will be stepping foot in the same arena in which I hugged Brian Thomas Littrell last May. SO MANY MEMORIES.

However, no Backstreet Boys' this time but Pink! This will be my first non-BSB show and I'm pretty excited. I intend to take photos (if I can a: get my camera in and b: the view is decent enough). I am in the upper tier right in line with the front of the stage in 8th row.

I'm slightly annoyed because for about 5 months they've been saying it's sold out and I've just discovered they've released some more in the same area I'm in but with a better view! I hate that they hold tickets back. Had this been BOYS I'd be all over getting slightly better seats, but for Pink I'll make do with what I have already!

Also, I'm going with my friend from work and we're having a road trip there. Apparently I'm the navigator, so we may not even get there anyway, lol.

Fluff on a stick.

Bugger. I missed the new Doctor Who episode. For some reason I was convinced it was on Sunday. POO. I caught the last 15 minutes though.

Luckily it airs again tomorrow on BBC3.

I also missed Big Bang Theory on Thursday. MY BRAIN FAILS AT REMEMBERING HAPPY. Again, the ep is on again in 20 minutes so not a complete loss.

Excited!

So I am listening to Pink right now and I'm getting a little bit excited now about seeing her in April. Hee! Hotel is booked too and now all we need are the tickets, hope they turn up soon.

I also attempted to get Michael Jackson tickets this week and it turns out I am a failboat at getting non-Backstreet tickets. Oh well. At least I can now save up for the next BOYS tour, because my savings have seriously dwindled in the last couple of months. Le sigh.

Hello Twitter!

I now have a Twitter account. I blame this entirely on the Backstreet Boys.

Edumacating time!

My books arrived yesterday for my Forensic Science course and after a quick skim through, I managed to completely freak out and wonder what the hell I was doing. However, I put them away and decided to worry about it later.

I opened the study guide today and after reading the first few pages it doesn't seem as scary as I initially thought. The page I opened it at yesterday had a bunch of chemical abbreviations and my brain was like "WHAAAAAAA......" so yes. Overall I'm excited about it, I think it's gonna be good to think about something different and focus my head elsewhere for a little while.

---

Also, Nick. *sigh* I doubt there's much I can say that hasn't already been said by my flist. I can honestly say that I'm surprised to the extent of his problems with drugs (though maybe not the booze) - however, I'm glad that he's managed to pull his life together. It is no secret that my love for Nick has grown over the last year, so I really do wish him well.

NOW BOYS, PLEASE NO MORE MEDICAL ISSUES. KTHANX.

gonna get edumacated!

I might be insane for doing this right now, what with my health issues and everything, but I have just signed myself up for a short course in Forensic Science. It's basically just an introduction to it, but when I complete it I get points which I can use towards a degree should I want to take that route.

I have perhaps watched too many shows on the discovery channel about this subject, but it sounds fascinating. Normally I'm drawn toward English or the Arts when it comes to picking subjects, but I've always ended up not enjoying them. So this time, I thought I would go for something that's a little different.

So, yay me?

I fail at life.

So today was my first day back at work after 9 glorious days of not being there and what do I do? Leave my uniform at home! I made it all the way to my locker before I realised. Bare in mind this was at 6.30am too.

So naturally - after swiping in - I ran home to get it. And now my legs hurt like hell.

I also spoke to personnel about changing my hours, while I'm dealing with my emotional issues. Surprisingly, they were very understanding. SHOCK. I have a late appointment with my GP tonight, so we'll see what happens.

So...

That meme I did the other day, I totally missed Pink off the list. Because yes.

I spent a small pile of money today when I went into the city which was pretty nice. Managed to get some bows for my hair, fingerless gloves, PINK cords, several sweaters and season 7 of Scrubs (that actually came in the mail as I pre-ordered it for the price online - glad I did, the shops had it for £10 more).

Also, personal crap. )

Oh my morning...

The lack of common sense in the world is really disturbing.

Here is the thing; I work in retail, primarily in the newspaper and magazine department. My deliveries are brought to me around 6am every morning so they are usually there by the time I get in at 7am.

Today I went in 30 minutes earlier, thinking that I may have a lot of magazines (1 - it's the beginning of the month, 2 - we were closed on the 1st so I would probably have a double delivery). Big deliveries are fine. I like them very much in fact. It fills up my time quite nicely.

You should also know that I have to put the newspapers out first, mostly because we open at 8am and if I left them until last customers would be on my case because on busy days there is no way I would have been able to get to them in time. I'm not a slow worker by any means, deliveries are just that big.

So imagine my first-of-the-month, double-day magazine delivery (Yes, it was bigger than me and I am 5'7) on my wheely cage. Now imagine all of these magazines ON TOP OF THE NEWSPAPERS.

I WANTED TO CRY.

But two days off now, so yay!
